Dear Neighbors,
This afternoon at 4:00 p.m., I will be joining Rep. Maria Isa Pérez-Vega, Rep. Samakab Hussein, and Minnesota’s Chief Deputy Attorney General, John Keller, for a virtual community conversation on ICE activity and reports of unlawful enforcement actions occurring in our neighborhoods.
 At a time when fear and misinformation are being used to intimidate immigrant families, it is critical that our community has accurate information, clear guidance, and reassurance about their rights and protections under Minnesota law. This conversation will focus on what is happening, what is not legal, and how families can protect themselves and one another.
