We just emailed you last week about the dangers wolves are facing and that SAME DAY the House voted, largely along party lines, to prematurely strip gray wolves of federal Endangered Species Act protections across the lower 48 states. Please, contact your Senators TODAY and urge them to reject this dangerous bill.

Once pushed to the brink of extinction in the lower 48 states, wolf populations gradually began to recover following their protection under the Endangered Species Act in 1974. But they are far from recovered—it’s not even close—and if they lose their federal protections now, it would spell absolute disaster for their recovery.

Wolves deserve a chance to recover, not to have their families torn apart for trophies and bragging rights by hunters. Please contact your Senators today and urge them to vote NO on H.R. 845/S. 1306!
