NARAL Pro-Choice America is now Reproductive Freedom for All. Our name may be new, but our mission of protecting and expanding reproductive freedom remains the same.
Hey John,
Something I'm proud of here at Reproductive Freedom for All is our focus on action through organizing. Even as the Trump administration tries to systematically strip back our freedoms, we're building power and demanding accountability.
Our organizing capacity is one reason why I'm asking you to consider an end-of-year donation to back our mission. Our team is firing on all cylinders to take back our rights in 2026 and we need your support to start next year strong. Your year-end donation will be MATCHED thanks to a group of generous donors.
But first, let me show our work. These were some of our biggest fights of 2025 and how we organized to win:
Defending medication abortion
Since Trump nominated Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), we've been sounding the alarm about his dangerous anti-abortion record. In September, RFK Jr. ordered the FDA to consider nationwide restrictions on mifepristone—the abortion pill that is safer than Tylenol—using fringe conspiracy theories as justification.
We weren't going to let RFK Jr.'s disinformation campaign go unchallenged. More than 11,000 people signed our petition demanding RFK Jr.'s resignation, and we filed a lawsuit seeking critical information from the FDA and CMS about the restrictions.
Together, we're sending a clear message: there's no room for extremism in our health care. And we're going to keep fighting back against every GOP attempt to discredit mifepristone and create a backdoor national abortion ban.
Passing Proposition 50 in California
When Trump tried to steal seats in Congress through an authoritarian power grab in Texas, California mobilized.
Our team worked with a progressive coalition to pass Proposition 50, the ballot initiative to temporarily redraw California's congressional map and offset the GOP's efforts. Together, we knocked hundreds of doors, made almost 20,000 calls, and sent nearly 40,000 texts to voters.
By successfully passing Prop 50, we fought back against Republican gerrymandering and leveled the playing field for the 2026 midterms. Next year, we have a chance to take back the House and pump the brakes on the most extreme parts of Trump's agenda.
Winning battleground governors' races in NJ + VA
We invested heavily in battleground elections this year, including gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia. Alongside our incredible volunteers, we knocked on over 22,000 doors and called and texted 341,000 voters. We also reached hundreds of thousands of people with ads.
The result? We won every single one of our endorsed races.
These wins aren't just a testament to the hard work of organizers and volunteers—they show loud and clear that voters are choosing elected officials who believe in reproductive freedom and soundly rejecting anti-abortion politicians.
Demanding accountability for cuts to our health care
When GOP lawmakers voted to slash Medicaid, we demanded accountability.
We held town halls, distributed flyers, and organized over 80 community events and pickets throughout August recess. Our supporters rallied together to send 12,000 emails, 60,000 text messages, and 2,000 social shares to flood their inboxes.
With your help, we also ran digital ads and billboards in key districts to show constituents that we won't let their lawmakers avoid accountability.
Building power in the states
We have teams on the ground in key states working to pass reproductive freedom bills in state legislatures and elect champions at every level of office.
Every day, our organizers are bringing more people into our reproductive freedom community. This work is critical—it's how we build our movement from the ground up.
We can only do this work with the backing of people like you who believe in our mission. I hope you'll consider making a matched donation to support our work in 2026.
Thank you,

David Berrios
