John,
This year, LGBTQ+ Victory Institute didn’t just imagine a stronger, more representative democracy — we helped build it.
Because of supporters like you, thousands of LGBTQ+ leaders and allies gained the skills, confidence, and community they need to step into public leadership.
Across six programs, 42 interns and fellows began their leadership journeys. More than 660 people were trained in person, including new and aspiring candidates through our Candidate & Campaign Trainings, hundreds of first-time participants at Public Leadership Summits, and women leaders trained in Mexico City. Nearly 70 percent of summit attendees were brand-new contacts — people who had never before been reached, trained, or supported in this way.
We also expanded access through virtual programs, training hundreds more leaders through Time2Run webinars, alumni trainings, and international programs like the Honduran Trans Electoral Training. And our conferences brought together a truly global movement — with hundreds of participants from more than 20 countries in Peru and even more expected in Washington, DC.
These numbers represent far more than program growth. They represent new candidates stepping forward, first-time leaders finding their voice, and future elected officials preparing to fight for equality, defend democracy, and ensure LGBTQ+ people are represented at every level of government. This growth is essential, and we have to keep it moving forward. Will you make an end of year donation to ensure we can continue this essential work?
The demand for this work is only growing. Every day, more LGBTQ+ people are asking themselves whether they’re ready to run, serve, and lead — and Victory Institute is often the first place they turn. With your support, we can keep growing and expanding our Candidate & Campaign Trainings, Public Leadership Summits, and other free leadership development programs that remove barriers and open doors.
Together, we can change the face of America and elect leaders who truly represent us all.
Please make a year-end gift today to ensure LGBTQ+ Victory Institute can continue — and expand — this crucial work in the year ahead. Your donation before December 31 will help train the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders and build a more just, inclusive democracy.
With gratitude,
Elliot Imse
