Email from Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women Together, we are the movement! HOME ABOUT US BECOME A MEMEBR Letter from the Executive Director Dear Relatives and Community, As we come to the close of December and the end of 2025, we pause together in a spirit of radical rest and reflection. This year has been filled with growth, courage, healing, and connection. It has also been a year of uncertainty, as funding challenges have impacted many of us and the communities we serve. In a world that often demands constant movement, we are intentionally choosing rest as an act of care, resistance, and renewal. Rest reminds us that we are worthy of care simply because we are human. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended, sponsored, and donated to our 30th Year Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser. Gathering in community with fellow Cycle Breakers, honoring our co-founders, and reflecting on three decades of advocacy, healing, and collective strength was deeply powerful. The evening reminded us how far we have come — and how much is possible when we move together with intention and love. This season invites us to reflect on what we have carried, what we have released, and what we are still becoming. We wish you joy, rest, and serenity during this holiday season. As we look ahead to 2026, we do so with gratitude and hope. We are honored to continue this work alongside you, grounded in our shared values and commitment to creating safer, more healing communities for Native women, children, and families. As part of our commitment to radical rest and sustainability, please note that the CSVANW office will be operating at low capacity on December 22 and 23. Our office will be closed for winter hibernation from December 24, 2025, through January 6, 2026, and we will return on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. We appreciate your understanding as our team takes this time to rest, restore, and reconnect with community and loved ones. As the holidays approach, we wish you and your loved ones a safe, peaceful, and nourishing season. May you find moments of rest that restore your spirit and carry you gently into the new year.
