After I announced that I’m still in this race — despite Republican attempts to gerrymander me out of Congress and rip away fair representation from eastern North Carolinians — the Cook Political Report changed our race rating from Likely R → Lean R.

That means we’ve moved the needle — even if it’s just a little bit. And it’s all thanks to supporters like you standing by my side through every challenge.

We still have a long way to go if we’re going to win this race next year, friend. This update puts another target on my back, and the attacks are only going to get stronger. They’re pulling out all the stops to unseat me. That’s why I need your help.
