Fighting for Affordable Insulin for Seniors

Supporter,

Here at the American Diabetes Association® (ADA), we have been fighting for affordable insulin since day one. Recently, we celebrated a huge victory in that fight when the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced a new model, the Part D Senior Savings Model, that will limit the cost of insulin for participating seniors at $35 per 30-day supply.

No person who takes insulin should have to ration or forgo it because of cost, especially our seniors!

We are excited to see this step forward for the 3.3 million seniors on Medicare who use insulin—but this is just one victory in our fight for affordable insulin. We won’t be done with this fight until all who need insulin can afford it.

Will you join us as we keep fighting for affordable insulin?

SUPPORT OUR MISSION

PS: When you donate to the ADA, not only are you helping fuel our fight for affordable insulin—you’re also helping us fight discrimination against people with diabetes, fight for increased federal research funding and more. There are lots of ways to give—consider signing up for a small monthly gift to help us keep fighting.

If you are struggling to pay for insulin or know someone who is, ADA has resources to help. Visit InsulinHelp.org.
