“NATO has definitely outlived its legitimacy. We must urgently
replace it with a new security and development architecture which this
time must take into account the security and development interests of
every single country on the planet,” Helga Zepp-LaRouche told an
international gathering of youth on Sunday, Dec. 14. “I think that is
absolutely the only way out of this crisis.”
The tension between two simultaneous and opposite trajectories in
the world serves to underscore those wise words: On the one hand, we
see a world of the Global Majority that is moving to consolidate
relationships of cooperation, mutual respect, and win-win agreements
for development; and on the other, a completely hysterical freakout
from an increasingly irrelevant, yet nuclear-armed, elite class that
would do anything to prevent peace in Ukraine—or to stir up a new
conflict somewhere else on the globe.

On January 29, 1984, Democratic presidential candidate Lyndon
LaRouche warned that the continued "independence" of the Federal
Reserve sysyem would lead to nothing but a further collapse of the
real, physical economy of the United States into a post-industrial
rubble heap. Instead, LaRouche insisted on putting the Fed back under
constitutional control as a national bank-style credit generation
facility to rebuild the nation. The visceral, abject rejection of

While Trump's new strategy paper is rife with problems and
shortfalls that deserve criticism, it should be seen as creating an
enormous opportunity. It's now our job to seize upon this situation

also brought the entire global financial system to the brink of
