John,

Congress is back in session—and they have less than two weeks to pass the final COVID-19 aid package that will prevent millions of families from facing eviction, hunger, and a precarious future. But so far, 1.2 million New Yorkers on the frontlines of this crisis—tax-paying immigrants and their U.S. citizen children and spouses—have been excluded from each and every stimulus package. This time, Senator Schumer must fight tooth and nail for all New Yorkers and make sure that Congress doesn’t leave immigrants behind.
Tell Sen. Schumer: Immigrants Need Relief!

Immigrants have kept our communities safe and economy alive throughout the pandemic, and they, like all other New Yorkers, need and deserve relief. Despite their sacrifices and the fact that they contribute billions of dollars in taxes every year, Senator Schumer agreed to pass relief packages that left out over a million immigrant New Yorkers and their families—and nearly 17  million Americans across the country struggling to survive.

It’s simple—without relief for ALL families, undocumented and mixed-status, New York’s communities and economy will suffer.

We’re mobilizing to make sure that whatever aid package is passed in the next weeks, immigrants will be included. Help us fight for immigrants on the frontlines by telling Senator Schumer that New Yorkers demand COVID relief for all. The cost of inaction is just too high.

In solidarity,

Steve Choi
