I’m Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury, an Emerge alum from New Mexico, and I’m reaching out personally with a simple request:

Please support Emerge before their end-of-year deadline.

After 2016, I applied to Emerge because I knew I had to fight back against Donald Trump and MAGA extremism. Emerge taught me how to tell my story, build a campaign, and serve with integrity.

But I’ll be honest: this Congress is a mess. Every day I think, “This is NOT normal.”

We are dealing with conspiracy theory hearings, manufactured chaos, and colleagues who know better but have abandoned their own values. Every day, it’s women who hold the line — women grounded in community, reality, and service.

We need more of them. A lot more.

Right now, there are 13 of us Emerge alums in Congress, and next year, Emerge has a chance to double their congressional caucus.
