The far-right has put a target on Our Revolution’s back. Trump and Republicans in Congress are working overtime to try to scare us into submission by cracking down on organizations like ours. And now they’re coming for our right to protest.
Senator Ted Cruz introduced a bill designed to threaten, prosecute, and silence those who fund and power the peaceful “No Kings” protest movement.
It’s clear why: Cruz and the MAGA base KNOW that our massive No Kings movement poses a real threat to their power. So they’re trying to hand Trump and his cronies the power to ban organizing, scare allies, and chill free speech. It’s a blatant attack on our rights and we need to OVERWHELM Congress with opposition RIGHT NOW.

As our movement gears up for another No Kings Day in 2026, Ted Cruz has a sinister plan to stop us.
He went on national TV, smeared our nonviolent protests as “riots,” and demanded Congress pass his “Stop FUNDERs Act” to allow Trump to prosecute people for *funding* peaceful protest. It’s completely chilling, but we refuse to be intimidated.
If we let this bill pass, we ALL could lose our right to support causes we believe in – or simply speak out. This is not a drill. It’s about the millions of people who have been the conscience of our democracy – and who could be at risk of prosecution just for organizing for justice.
The good news is we can still defeat this. But only if we raise our voices, NOW.
