With the nation’s largest voting bloc enthusiastic to cast their ballot this November, it’s more important than ever that we protect our democracy. Like Rainesford Stauffer said in her opinion piece, “It’s easy to ding young people for apathy. But it’s harder to examine and correct everything getting in the way, like voter suppression, a lack of civic education and plain old outreach.” That’s what we’re doing—the hard organizing work.
