Please, don’t skip past this. It’s about Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.
Donald Trump is once again trying to silence anyone who holds him accountable.
Yesterday, the Trump Department of Justice defied federal law by refusing to release the full Epstein files, despite a clear legal deadline set by Congress.
This wasn’t an accident. It was a deliberate cover-up.
But I, along with my Democratic colleagues on the Oversight Committee, refused to stay quiet. I called it out. I demanded accountability. And now Trump and his allies are lashing out because they don’t want the American people to see what’s really in those files.
Let me be clear: no one is above the law — not Donald Trump, not his DOJ, and not the powerful people who think they can bury the truth forever.
This is serious, folks.
Trump’s administration is defying Congress. They’re stonewalling subpoenas. They’re protecting the powerful instead of the victims.
And they’re counting on people like us to get tired and look away.
But I won’t — and I know good Democrats like you won’t either.
Trump and his allies want this to blow over. But as long as you and I keep the pressure on, that won’t happen.
