Friends -
In 2018, we spent more than $12 million to help elect progressive veterans running for office, or candidates who would stand up for veterans once elected.
We ran ads in places most organizations can’t — from deep-red districts in Kentucky to statewide campaigns in Montana and Wisconsin.
VoteVets spent more than almost any other left-leaning outside organization in the last election. And we won. A lot.
Now we have to do it again. The stakes are even higher, if you can believe it.
But heading into the last end of month fundraising deadline before campaign spending really picks up in earnest, we are falling short of our goals and where we were last cycle.
So with the clock ticking down, we have to ask:
It is no exaggeration to suggest this may be the single most important election cycle in at least a generation, if not modern American history. It’s an all hands on deck moment. So thanks for chipping in.
All my best,
Jon Soltz
