2025 is almost over, and we are so close to achieving our financial goals!
We had two goals for the last month of 2025:
FIRST, we wanted to receive 75 unique donations in December.
We have the most individual donors and the most small dollar donations of any current candidate for Tempe City Council, so we thought this was a reasonable goal.
As I am writing this email, we are are only four donations away from reaching that goal! In the last 20 days, we have received more than 70 donations from generous supporters, with an average donation amount of less than $60. That support is humbling, encouraging, and very inspiring. Thank you so much!
SECOND, we wanted to raise $20,000 during 2025.
Running for office means printing signs for yards and intersections, buying shirts for volunteers and donors, paying fees for canvassers and designers, and so much more.
None of that is free.
Campaigning is expensive work, and I don't take money from big business, private developers, or for-profit lobbyists. That makes raising money much harder, but it protects me from corrupting corporate influence in office.
Raising $20,000 in 2025 would give us all the money we need to print our palm cards, our street signs, our yard signs, our campaign shirts, and our first round of mailers. It also allows us to hire a professional canvasser who knocks doors for 20 hours each week to tell Tempe voters about this campaign.
We have the best platform, the best policies, the best design team, and the best media strategy. We just need name recognition, and that costs money.
Thankfully, as of the writing of this email, we are less than $2,988 away from reaching our fundraising goal for the year. That means if everyone on this email list gave $2, we would beat our goal. If half of this list gave $5, we would crush our goal. And if a quarter of this list gave $20 or one tenth of this list gave $50, we would absolutely demolish our goal.
BUT, I still need your help.
Tempe voters are excited about making our city affordable, but I can't deliver this agenda alone. My corporate-friendly opponents are outraising our grassroots campaign, and your financial support is more essential than ever.
Each street sign costs $20, and each door knocked costs $2.50. That means a $25 donation knocks 10 doors, $100 buys five signs for major intersections, and a max donation of $650 pays for 260 doors knocked or 32 signs.
We only need four more donations to reach our December goal, and we are also VERY close to our goal for the whole year!
Please use the link below to make a donation and help us beat those goals! Whatever you can give will go a very long way. We will win because of your generosity.
