a Baltimore City teacher wrote into the Baltimore Sun this month,
highlighting the wins Wes has put on the board in our fight to make sure
our kids have the best public education possible.

The Moore-Miller administration is reducing the teacher vacancy rate,
getting record funding for Maryland’s public schools three years in a row,
and investing billions in our public school system. We’re strengthening
pathways for federal workers to grow into education careers, and uplifting
our young men and boys by prioritizing recruitment and retention for male
educators.

And it’s getting results: Recent reporting shows that nearly every single
grade in Maryland has made improvements in reading and math scores.
