I’m proud to have represented CA-49 in Congress since 2019. While a lot has changed over the years, something that has never wavered is my refusal to accept a penny from corporate PACs.

I refused, and never looked back. I’ve always believed that I’m beholden to the people of this district, not corporations who want to push their own agenda.

Mega donors and corporations already have far too much power in our country. It’s only grown -- and now, the president is protecting the billionaires with huge tax breaks instead of fighting for working families on the brink of losing healthcare amidst an affordability crisis.
