Hi John,
This month, a high school student from our district was detained by ICE while on the way to school. A teenager, ripped from their community, their classroom, and their family. Instead of protecting young people who are trying to learn and build a future, this administration is choosing to terrorize them and tear families apart.
This is not justice. It’s cruelty.
Nicole Malliotakis has repeatedly supported extreme anti-immigrant policies that criminalize working families and target our diverse communities. Families she represents are suffering, and she couldn't care less. Staten Island and South Brooklyn deserve leadership that will fight for due process, dignity, and humane immigration reform.
