Lowering Health Care Costs and Providing Better Choices for All Americans
This week, the House passed an important bill that will lower health care costs and provide better choices for all Americans. Years ago, the Democrats created a federalized health care system that's incredibly broken. Now, House Republicans are working to fix what is broken, restore integrity in our nation’s health care system, and lower the cost of health care for every citizen.
The Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act lowers premium costs, expands access to affordable health care, gives Americans more options, and lowers the costs of prescription drugs. It delivers twice the cost reduction of the Democrats’ temporary, COVID-era enhanced subsidies and brings those costs down for ALL Americans, not just some.
For too long, Democrats have forced hardworking American taxpayers to bail out big health insurance companies for hundreds of billions of dollars. This week, I proudly joined my Republican colleagues in voting for the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act to lower health care costs for all Americans. I recently joined Fox Business Network's Mornings with Maria to discuss this legislation and how I am fighting to cut costs for hardworking families through lower premiums.
