Donald Trump is pushing through judicial nominees who reject basic reality
— nominees who won’t acknowledge the 2020 election results and who
describe January 6 not as an insurrection, but as a “political issue.”
These are people Trump wants deciding the fate of our rights and our
democracy.
And somehow, 18 Democratic senators are still voting YES on these
nominees: Coons, Durbin, Fetterman, Gallego, Hassan, Heinrich, Hirono,
Kaine, Kelly, King, Klobuchar, Peters, Reed, Rosen, Schiff, Shaheen,
Welch, and Whitehouse.
We need to say it clearly: You cannot claim to defend democracy while
handing judgeships to people who refuse to accept democratic outcomes.
