| I’m happy to see that subject line didn’t scare you away, John, so thanks for being here and giving me a chance to explain.
For context, we’re less than two weeks away from the end of the year, which also just so happens to be our first official fundraising deadline.
Once we’ve filed our fundraising numbers with the state, the genie is out of the bottle — everyone will be able to see how this grassroots campaign stacks up.
There are a lot of Iowans who are still on the fence, but with polls showing us up 2 points and this race officially being labeled a coin flip, a strong fundraising report could be the thing that finally inspires folks to join the team.
More resources allows us to hire more organizers, hold more events, and reach more Iowans!
That kind of word-of-mouth grassroots network is how we win this thing, but that starts by putting up some jaw-dropping fundraising numbers before the end of the year.
That’s why I’m personally asking for your support, John: Will you please pitch in $20 today to put us one step closer to hitting our $250,000 End-of-Year goal?
Thanks,
Rob Sand
