Zoe here — I’ll keep this quick before everyone disappears into holiday mode.

Contest Every Race is closing out the year supporting 390 local Democratic teams working year-round to organize their communities and make sure Democrats show up on the ballot and at the polls. 

Right now, our teams in Wisconsin, Missouri, and Ohio are working overtime to ensure they have enough candidates and infrastructure before their filing deadlines hit in the next few weeks. And when local races go uncontested, Republicans win by default, letting them control everything from school boards to election administration.

This is the moment where our teams need backup. December support keeps organizers reaching out to potential candidates, meeting with community leaders, and running the early-season work that too many local parties simply don’t have the capacity to do without Contest Every Race’s support.
