Truly historic news out of Washington, D.C. this week—

Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., announced what Fox News described as “a sweeping package of proposed regulatory actions…to end ‘sex-rejecting procedures.’”

In other words, HHS is introducing new policies to defund hospitals that perform sex-change operations, give cross-sex hormones, or give puberty “blockers” to children—by stripping them of Medicare and Medicaid funding programs.

This is a historic step forward.

But our work is not done.

Future administrations can revoke these regulations.

That is why our landmark cases representing de-transitioners like Chloe Cole, Luka Hein, and Clementine Breen are so important.

We have to hold these gender clinics financially accountable for mutilating young girls so that other doctors will think twice before mutilating a vulnerable child.

Shortly after RFK Jr.’s announcement, Letitia James, the Attorney General of New York, went to social media proclaiming that sex-change operations, cross-sex hormones, and sterilizing drugs are “still legal and protected” in New York. Nick Brown, the Attorney General of Washington state, went to social media to do the same.
