Well… Now the federal government is stepping in.
Just days ago, the U.S. Department of Labor announced a “targeted review” of Minnesota’s benefits system because of “recent discoveries of widespread fraud.” They’re examining everything from Unemployment Insurance to the Federal Child Nutrition Program to autism services and housing support. Federal officials say the state’s “performance and integrity” are in question, and even warned that Medicaid funding could be withheld if Minnesota doesn’t clean it up.
This is exactly what I’ve been pressing Walz on. It’s exactly why I introduced the SNAP Data Transparency and Oversight Act. And it’s exactly why Minnesota Democrats are scrambling to announce a brand-new “fraud prevention program” in a desperate attempt to save face.
I’m not backing down. Not when billions of taxpayer dollars have been stolen. Not when hard working Minnesotan taxpayers have been lied to, misled, and taken advantage of.
And now, President Trump is standing with us.
He endorsed our campaign because he knows we’re the ones holding Walz accountable, exposing the fraud, and fighting for transparency. But that also means we’re now a top target for Democrats in St. Paul and Washington, D.C.
They can’t afford to let the truth get out, and they’re already lining up money to come after us.
