John – while DOGE was a complete and total failure, Shontel Brown is actually working to improve government efficiency and save taxpayer dollars.

This week, the House passed Shontel Brown’s bipartisan SAMOSA Act, or Strengthening Agency Management and Oversight of Software Assets. The bill was passed unanimously by the House and now heads to the Senate for a vote.

The federal government spends around $33 billion annually on software, but many agencies have unused or duplicate licenses. Brown’s bill would reduce waste by ensuring agencies only have what they need and use. Shontel stated, “This is what government efficiency efforts should look like, addressing real problems in a thoughtful way.”

Shontel is working to get things done for the American people even in the minority – that is the leadership that we need and deserve. Help support her campaign to continue making progress by contributing $5 today.
