Pray for Creativity |

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." |

For survivors, the ability to create is often lost in the struggle to survive. But in freedom, imagination and expression can return.
Not long ago, Daniel spent his childhood untangling fishing nets deep beneath the surface of Lake Volta in Ghana. At 10 years old, he should have been in school. Instead, he was forced to work on the lake.
He was 14 when IJM and Ghanaian police found him and brought him to safety. He was eager for his first day of school, but quickly found that he had a talent and a passion for art.
Today, instead of diving into a dangerous lake, he dives into a bright palette of color that he uses to paint beautiful murals that bring hope and health to his community. He’s now preparing to graduate high school and hopes to attend college to continue his education and serve others.
For Daniel, freedom is in every brushstroke of his latest masterpiece.
