I carried the nuclear football for President Obama – now I’m running for Congress to flip MI-07, one of the most tightly contested battleground districts in the country, and become the first Democrat Navy SEAL in the House.

Here it goes:
December is what we call an FEC month. That means at the end of the month, my Team is going to have to publicly release our fundraising since October – both our total raised and the total number of donations.
It’s a major benchmark of our campaign’s progress.
Republicans have made this district one of their top priorities, so we are expecting EVERYONE to be watching our numbers to gauge the strength of our campaign.
A good report would be a sign that we’re on the right track to flip this district. It could lead to more media attention and endorsements.
It is no exaggeration to say that this is our biggest test as a campaign yet. So I need your help – this could not be more important.
