As we approach the end of the year, and our final FEC filing deadline of 2025, I want to be clear about what’s at stake.

The path to taking back the House majority next year runs through California.

So when Donald Trump commanded Texas Republicans to steal Democratic seats through redrawing their congressional map, I teamed up with my Democratic colleagues to cancel out his election-rigging scheme by introducing Prop 50.

Thanks to California voters, Prop 50 passed in November — and now our state is the frontlines of the fight to end Trump’s trifecta.

We need to win these newly drawn districts, and as Chair of the California Congressional Delegation, I’m leading efforts to elect more Democrats in California and take back the House.

That’s why closing out this year strong is so important. We need to show that we have the momentum going into the midterms, and that we have the resources to back these new candidates in competitive districts in California.
