We won’t beat around the bush. Yes, this is a fundraising email. Today, we’re asking you to chip in just $3 to Dave Min before midnight to make sure California doesn’t fall to Trump’s MAGA movement next year.

But if you’re not completely sold yet, or you need a little more context before chipping in (totally understand!), we wanted to share three reasons that might convince you:

1. A lot of people think Prop 50 ended the California Republican Party for good. It didn’t. Right this second, the GOP is challenging Prop 50 in court — and we all know how Trump’s courts like to rule. That means we need to get prepared for yet another ultra-close election, no matter the outcome of the lawsuit.


2. CA-47 isn’t a seat Democrats would like to win. It’s one we need to win. Want to know the odds of Democrats taking back the House if Dave Min loses next year? Miniscule. That means the entire country is counting on Orange County to lead the charge against Trump on Election Day — and we can only do it with your help.


3. Our numbers are about to go public for everyone to see. Look, we wish money didn’t matter so much in elections. But that’s the system we have to compete in. So when Donald Trump and all his far-right allies here in California have the opportunity to look at our fundraising numbers in the new year, we NEED them to be strong.

Please, if any of those reasons convince you, will you rush a contribution before midnight tonight? We would not be asking if this wasn’t incredibly, incredibly important.
