This is the seventh member of Congress to cosponsor MFA legislation in the last month.

National Nurses United

Great news, :

Medicare for All just gained another new cosponsor in Congress! 🎉

U.S. Rep. Sarah Elfreth of Maryland’s 3rd congressional district just signed on in support of the House bill, which now has 111 cosponsors.

We had been leading an organizing campaign in Rep. Elfreth’s district to build the support necessary to convince her to sign on, and it worked!

She becomes the seventh new Medicare for All cosponsor in Congress in just the last month, proving that momentum to pass single-payer, universal health care just keeps growing.

Medicare for allll has 7 new cosponsors in the last month! Sen. Chris Van Hollen (MD), Sen. Tina Smith (MN), Rep. Adelina Grijalva (AZ-07), Rep. April McClain Delaney (MD-06), Rep. Jared Moskowitz (FL-23), Rep. Julie Johnson (TX-32), Rep. Sarah Ellfreth (MD-03). Momentum is growing! Join the movement at medicare4all.org

Let’s celebrate this win and keep up the energy to pass Medicare for All — share our victory graphic on social media to spread the word and encourage more legislators to get on board:
