It’s an unfortunate fact that I’m one of only a few moms with small kids in Congress.

I know this year has been difficult for so many of us — sometimes unimaginably so. But still, when I look at my ten-month-old son, I have to have hope because I know his future depends on it.

Their power relies on fear and on us giving up, but I know that we are not going to stop fighting for the future our kids deserve.

And in a district like mine — Colorado’s most competitive Democratic House seat — every single action matters. Speaking out. Showing up. And yes, chipping in when you can.

And I know if we keep it up, we can give our kids the future they deserve — not the pain, chaos, and suffering that Donald Trump is desperate to spread all across the country.
