Never in a million years would I have guessed that we would be on the cusp of 1,000,000 contributions to this people-powered campaign. I hope you'll give me a chance to explain why this is so important.

As Mark's campaign manager, making sure we have the money to achieve our goals is one of my top priorities. So obviously I was excited when I heard we were nearing one million contributions.
