December 31 is our final FEC reporting deadline of the year. After that, our fundraising numbers go public for everyone to see — the press, national Republicans, and the outside groups already looking at NY-03.

As one of just a handful of Democrats representing a district President Trump also won (by 19,000 votes!), those groups are watching closely. They’re trying to decide where to spend millions next year, and early fundraising strength matters more than most people realize.

This end-of-year deadline isn’t just symbolic. It helps determine how strong we start the new year and how prepared we are to defend this seat and keep delivering for Long Island and Queens.
