Retail crime is up 48% in CA. Small businesses already run on a tight margin — they shouldn’t have to pay for Sacramento’s negligence.
I’m leading a bill to support law enforcement, shut down organized theft rings, and crack down on retail crime.
The one-size-fits-all health care system created by Democrats is broken and hardworking families are paying the price.
I am proud to support the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act to lower costs, expand choice for Americans, and put patients first.
Big win for Main Street!
My bill to cut red tape and amplify small business voices passed the House overwhelmingly in the INVEST Act—making it easier for Main Street to be heard, not buried in bureaucracy.
As China, North Korea, Russia, and Iran deepen their unholy alliance, America must lead with strength and resolve. This week, President Trump signed sweeping national security legislation into law that strengthens our military, counters adversaries, and defends American leadership.
I’m proud to see my Taiwan Non-Discrimination Act and several key provisions I worked on signed into law to push back on the CCP, stand with our allies, and secure a free and open Indo-Pacific.
College costs shouldn’t be a guessing game.
That’s why I’m working to require colleges to provide clear, consistent financial aid offers—so students and families can avoid unnecessary debt and make informed decisions about their future.
Nearly 250 years ago, the United States began a courageous experiment of freedom, faith, and democracy.
You can celebrate America's upcoming 250th birthday through a new special exhibit at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda that takes you through America's most transformative events.
Learn more about the exhibit HERE.
A diagnosis of young-onset Alzheimer’s is devastating enough.
I’m introducing the BRIDGE for Young-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease Act so families can focus on care—not bureaucratic delays—when every moment matters.
Last week, I was honored to join the China Human Rights Fair and tireless advocates shining light where the CCP wants darkness.
To those suffering under the CCP’s abuses and the loved ones who wait for their return: please don’t give up hope, we are with you.
My Washington, D.C. office is accepting internship applications through December 31, 2025 for the Spring 2026 term. Interns gain hands-on experience in the legislative process—assisting with constituent services, researching policy, drafting correspondence, and attending hearings.
Applicants should be enrolled in college with a minimum 3.0 GPA and strong writing skills. Preference is given to CA-40 residents, but all applicants are welcome. Interns receive a monthly stipend and are responsible for housing and transportation. Learn more and apply at youngkim.house.gov.

I am thrilled that Team Young has helped return over $32 million back to taxpayers from federal agencies.
If you need help with a federal agency, please reach out to my office. We’re here to serve you always.
Sincerely,
Young Kim
