Friends,
Hanukkah teaches us that even in the darkness, we can find the light.
Over the weekend, we saw antisemitism turn a beautiful community celebration of Hanukkah at Bondi Beach into a nightmare. As we work to end what is clearly a global crisis of antisemitism, it’s more important than ever that we remember that lesson of the Festival of Lights.
Whether you’re celebrating Hanukkah this week, getting ready for Christmas next week, or looking ahead to the new year, I hope you are able to find peace, strength, and light amid darkness this holiday season.
Thank you for taking the time to read these updates and for being a part of this community. As I reflect on 2025 and prepare for a busy 2026, I’m more grateful than ever for this team of supporters. Your partnership and feedback help inform every part of the work we do, and I always remember that YOU are the reason I’m in this!
I look forward to another year of fighting for our values.
Warmly,
Sara
