John, Donald Trump posted an unhinged rant about me on Truth Social this week for speaking on my faith. I shared my response on All In with Chris Hayes, but I also wanted to take a moment and share it with you directly.

Donald Trump has got a lot of nerve saying that I'm using faith to divide people. This is a man who literally had protesters gassed and beaten down so he could hold up a bible in front of a church. A man who is taking health care away from millions of Americans and creating fear and terror throughout immigrant communities.

My faith is not a weapon. It's a bridge. And I'd invite the president to come over to my church. Maybe we ought to have some bible study, because apparently he doesn't know the faith that I talk about on Sunday mornings.

Until then, I will continue to speak out as loudly and as often as I can to fight back against the harm that Donald Trump is inflicting on families across the country.
