Mayor Karen Bass has officially launched her re-election campaign! She’s running because the work to build a stronger, safer, more affordable Los Angeles is far from finished.

Since taking office, Mayor Bass has led with urgency, focus, and a bold vision for our city’s future. From accelerating housing production to expanding public safety and community wellbeing, Los Angeles is finally seeing real progress.

Through Inside Safe, thousands of Angelenos have already come indoors. For the first time ever, homelessness has declined two years in a row. Permanent housing move-ins have nearly doubled since Mayor Bass took office. At the same time, the city is making faster, smarter investments in infrastructure, transportation, and economic opportunity to ensure Los Angeles is ready not just for today, but for decades to come.
