When I was hired by Fight for the Future to do campaign and executive support, I never dreamed I’d also be designing merch for the org. Like many of my teammates, I have a creative practice that I’ve typically compartmentalized from my day job. But Fight is different. Our team doesn’t only encourage each other to pursue our creative endeavors, we help each other weave them into the work we do every day. It makes our output—from campaigns to design to social media content—stronger and more personal. It’s just one of the many reasons I genuinely love my job, and why Fight is an organization worth supporting.
In 2023, I created a “Resist Surveillance Squirrel” design with the team, and since then we’ve added 4 more critter designs to the series. (In addition to creative-types, we also happen to identify with ungovernable animals.) These designs are available together in a sticker pack for the first time, including the newest design “Turn Off Ring Raccoons.”
