A new Civic Lens Research poll confirms other recent polling:

Steve Hilton (R)     18%
Chad Bianco (R)    14%
Eric Swalwell (D)   12%
Katie Porter (D)      9%
Undecided              31%

Two Republicans are currently leading statewide. But here’s the danger: with more than half a dozen Democrats running, all it takes is them consolidating or another Republican splitting the vote by spring for Republicans to lose one — or both — spots in the Top Two primary.

This race could be decided early, not in November. If Republicans invest now to reach the massive 31% undecided bloc, we can:

• Lock in a Republican on the November ballot
• Potentially shut Democrats out entirely
• Finally challenge one-party rule in Sacramento
