John,
Today, the Department of Justice failed to release the full Jeffrey Epstein files as required by law.
That failure is not an oversight. It is an obstruction of justice. And it requires an immediate response from Congress: Trump must be impeached and removed.
This is not a political question. It is a Constitutional one.
The United States Congress passed legislation requiring the release of the full Epstein files. But in direct defiance of that law, Trump, through his Department of Justice, continues to conceal tens of thousands of documents that implicate powerful individuals – including Trump himself – while denying justice to Epstein’s victims and transparency to the American people.
The DOJ’s delay, concealment, and manipulation of these records constitutes obstruction of justice.

Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell operated a vast sex-trafficking network protected for decades by wealth, power, and government complicity. Time and again, our justice system treated Epstein and his associates differently than ordinary defendants – sealing indictments, granting immunity to unnamed co-conspirators, and concealing evidence from the public.
Thousands of Epstein-related records remain hidden. And the DOJ under Trump has a documented pattern of protecting Trump, his associates, and elite interests from accountability.
In 2025, Congress voted 427–1 to require the full release of these files by December 19. There is no lawful excuse for secrecy.
As detailed in Citizen Impeachment’s Article of Impeachment, endorsed by Free Speech For People, Trump has:
* Abused the powers of his office to delay, impede, and obstruct the release of the Epstein files;
* Misused the FBI and DOJ to identify, flag, and conceal references to himself;
* Offered or facilitated favorable treatment for convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell in exchange for statements beneficial to Trump;
* Made false and misleading public statements to deceive the American people about his relationship with Epstein and the existence of incriminating evidence;
* Attempted to manufacture the illusion of transparency while blocking the truth—conduct a federal judge described as “aimed not at disclosure but at diversion.”
This is textbook obstruction of justice.
By blocking the full release of the Epstein files today, Trump has confirmed that he is using the powers of the presidency to shield himself and others from accountability.
That is an impeachable offense.
The rule of law demands consequences – no matter how powerful the offender.
