Dear Friend,
Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of meeting people across Shelby County in church pews, classrooms, barber shops, and neighborhood parks. I have listened to your stories, your struggles, your hopes, and your ideas.
I have heard from parents working two jobs just to keep up. From teachers doing more with less. From young people who want to stay here if only they could see a future that works for them.
What I have learned is simple. Shelby County does not need a mayor who talks at people. We need leadership that listens, learns, and leads with the people.
That is why I am running for County Mayor: to build a Shelby County where every family has the chance to thrive, not just get by.
A Shelby County where:
Every child can access universal pre-K and a great public education, no matter their ZIP code.
Every neighborhood has quality healthcare with walk-in clinics, mental health support, and preventive care close to home.
Every resident has real pathways to good-paying jobs, job training, and opportunities to build a better life.
And where public safety and public trust go hand in hand, because we invest in prevention, not just punishment.
I have spent my career bringing people together on the County Commission, in business, and in our neighborhoods to solve tough problems with practical solutions. I know that when we work together, Shelby County can be a place where opportunity is not a privilege, but a promise.
But I cannot do this alone. Change that lasts does not come from the top down. It is built from the ground up.
