John,

Republicans have once again failed to uphold their campaign promises.

Donald Trump campaigned on a promise to lower living costs, but only months into his administration, rent, groceries, and basic necessities are increasingly out of reach for working families.

Senate Republicans could’ve easily passed a plan to lower the cost of healthcare, but they chose their own interests and partisan games instead.

I know what it’s like to struggle to make ends meet and choose between paying rent and going to the doctor, but they don’t. I know what it’s like feeling betrayed by our representatives in Washington because, time and time again, they’ve turned their backs on us.

I’m a veteran, and from day one of my service, I was trained never to leave anyone behind. Republicans have left us working Texans behind, but it’s time to turn the tide and bring real leadership to Washington. Chip in to my campaign now to help me raise $10,000 before our public reporting deadline on December 31st:
