The World Justice Project has experienced a year marked by the profound loss of our visionary co-founder and former CEO, Bill Neukom (1942–2025), and by a global landscape where authoritarian threats and shrinking civic spaces are becoming increasingly urgent.

In these turbulent times, our mission has never been more vital. As you plan your year-end giving ([link removed]) , we invite you to invest in a world ruled by laws, equality, and peace.

** 2025 by the Numbers: Real Influence, Real Change
------------------------------------------------------------

This year, WJP worked tirelessly to turn data into action. Here is what your support made possible:
* 25: The number of countries where we engaged directly with high-level officials, from Prime Ministers to Supreme Court judges, to advocate for the rule of law.
* 32: The number of reports we published to inform better policymaking, including our flagship WJP Rule of Law Index ([link removed]) and profiles for every EU member state ([link removed]) .
* 5: The number of new strategic MOUs signed – from the OECD and the European Partnership for Democracy to the National Human Rights Commission for Thailand, all establishing a way forward to advancing the rule of law.
* 18: The number of times our data was cited by world-class institutions—from the UK House of Lords’ report on tyranny ([link removed]) to researchers at Harvard, Oxford, and LSE.
* 6,620+: Media mentions that brought the rule of law into the global conversation. Spanning 149 countries, our data reached millions—whether through The Independent’s ([link removed]) feature on gender-based justice gaps, Euronews ([link removed]) rolling out the Index in 10 different languages, or Al Jazeera’s ([link removed]) retrospective opinion piece on the Arab Spring.

** A Platform for Global Solutions
------------------------------------------------------------

This year’s World Justice Forum in Warsaw ([link removed]) was a resounding success, bringing together 500+ attendees from 80 countries. More than just a meeting, it was a launchpad for action, resulting in the Warsaw Principles for the Rule of Law ([link removed]) —a universal framework to strengthen the rule of law in the face of expanding authoritarianism and the erosion of fundamental rights.

We also launched our "Changemakers on Change" series, featuring a powerful conversation between Nobel Laureate Maria Ressa and Pulitzer winner Anne Applebaum ([link removed]) on the digital threats to democracy. We look forward to bringing you more of these critical insights in 2026.

** Your Support Secures Our Independence
------------------------------------------------------------

The World Justice Project is effective because we are neutral and independent. We provide the objective data that leaders need and use to build fairer societies. That independence relies entirely on the generosity of supporters like you.

As the year draws to a close, please consider a gift to WJP ([link removed]) . Your donation ensures that we can continue to defend truth, promote transparency, and advance the rule of law for all.
