John, I have spent my working life trying to make North Carolina better, and it has been more than worth it. The trust that North Carolinians have placed in me has meant so much. It gave me the opportunity to serve my home and allowed us to make real progress.

I didn’t plan to go to Washington, but I got in this race for the U.S. Senate because that progress is on the line, along with so much more. For our state and for all Americans.
