Setting the tone for 2026 has never been more important. Right now, Republicans in Congress are sitting back and letting healthcare subsidies expire while millions of American families stand to suffer.

That’s unacceptable. It motivates me that much more to push back in Congress -- and while I’m doing everything I can from my position on the Appropriations Committee, it’s clear that the GOP won’t be truly held accountable without the House majority.
