“Fear not: stand and see the great wonders of the Lord” (Ex 14:13)

Earlier this year a headline in The Guardian newspaper expressed a stark warning:
"The right to abortion is under threat in Britain."

The author of the article was none other than Britain’s most zealous pro-abortion MP, Stella Creasy.
Creasy warned that “the anti-abortion movement” was increasing its “campaigning and networking” and warned of “the restriction of access [to abortion] under a future regressive government.”
The death lobby projects confidence and strength but behind closed doors they are terrified.
“SPUC lobbies hard”
This was Creasy’s warning to abortion activists, urging them to take seriously the threat SPUC poses to abortion laws in this country.
The abortion lobby knows the power of our grassroots army, and they know they don’t have answers to the arguments our lobbyists make.
The signs are clear. The writing is on the wall. The abortion lobby has powerful allies in Parliament – for now – but they are losing the country.
Polling commissioned by SPUC shows that only 5% of the public support the radical abortion to birth law they are pushing through Parliament.
And Creasy and her allies must be crisis over recent findings that young men aged 16-34 are now the most pro-life demographic in Britain…
We are the future. They are the past.
We are going to win. We are going to defeat abortion.
But victory will not come overnight.
There is work to do first.
Right now, SPUC is:
- Expanding our grassroots network into more communities nationwide
- Reaching tens of thousands of young people through our educational and media outreach
- Making one-to-one contact with MPs, Peers and members of devolved assemblies through our professional lobbying team
- Countering abortion propaganda through our new SPUC TV station and through cutting-edge research and briefings
- Going out into the streets to engage directly with the general public.
And so much more.
