Dear John,
This year, for the first time since the pandemic, we were able to host an in-person Lobby Day. Not only was it fun to return to hosting this important event in-person, but it was a meaningful and impactful experience for our volunteers. Here is a testimonial from OLCV volunteer Rick Reynolds from West Linn: I've been so impressed by OLCV and their Lobby Days. The expert trainers do a remarkable job of quickly preparing us to engage with our legislators productively. We've all had so much fun, too, and I look forward to the next events! These Lobby Days are only possible with your generosity.
It costs $4,000 to host an OLCV Lobby Day, and all of these funds come from our generous donors. If we could get 40 donors to give $100 right now, we can fund a future OLCV Lobby Day. John, will you help us continue our meaningful Lobby Days, so our volunteers have the chance to lobby their elected officials?

Why is Lobby Day so important? It gives our volunteers not only the chance to speak directly to their legislators on issues they care about, but also to receive training, tips, and tricks on how best to lobby their elected officials. If we are going to win this fight, our legislators need to hear from their constituents. |
Our Lobby Day provides a sense of community when things feel gloomy — it’s exactly what our members need now. |
