I want to share some news — and be very honest with you about what this moment requires.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been asked to serve as the next Executive Director of the Arizona Democratic Party! I officially begin in January, but after more than a decade of working in Arizona politics and national Democratic fundraising, I know this much is true:

How we finish this year will determine how well we can compete in 2026, and we have ground to make up. Can you step up to help us close the gap?

I’ve spent my career helping Democratic campaigns and organizations build the financial and organizational muscle they need before Election Day, from serving as Finance Director for the Arizona Democratic Party back in 2018, to running national fundraising for Secretary Julián Castro’s presidential campaign, to most recently leading fundraising for the Democratic Mayors Association, supporting Mayoral races across the country.

And right now, I need to be direct with you:

We are behind where we need to be heading into the end of the quarter and the end of the year.

Arizona is a battleground state. We win by organizing early, investing early, and refusing to fall behind. That’s how we’ve protected statewide offices. That’s how we’ve flipped seats. And that’s how we will do it again, if we have the resources in place.

Even though I don’t officially start until next year, I’m asking you to step up now to help us close this gap and kick off 2026 from a position of strength.

We have so much work to do. From closing our voter registration gap with Republicans, to building a statewide communications and organizing team, to planning GOTV: none of it can wait. 

This is the moment where early supporters make the biggest difference.
