Gregory Bovino, Trump’s militant ICE commander, has been attacking me nonstop on X for defending immigrant families in our communities against his inhumane and authoritarian raids.

He’s got a lot to say on social media, trying to smear me, but here’s what I have to say to both him and Donald Trump:

Stop the tough guy act.

When it comes to standing up for Illinoisans, I won't back down, and I certainly won't be intimidated by someone who hides behind masked agents to attack children and the elderly.

When you're ready to stop tweeting and start talking about what Illinois really needs, you know where to find me. Better yet, why don't you stop wasting resources, leave town, and let us keep working to make our communities safer?

These attacks aren’t random — they’re strategic. Bovino and Trump are trying to keep me out of the U.S. Senate because they know I won’t be afraid to stand up to them and will challenge their extremist agenda head-on.

They’re counting on my opponent to win this race. After all, he’s already been bought out by Trump’s advisors and executives, who are enabling Trump’s heinous agenda against immigrant families.

That’s why I need you with me today. We need to fight back, fend off these attacks, and prove our movement can't be silenced.
