Families across Wisconsin are about to feel a painful hit to their health care costs, and it didn't have to happen.

Republicans refused to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies, and now ACA premiums are set to skyrocket in the new year. That means higher monthly bills, more uncertainty, and tougher choices for families who are already stretched thin.

These subsidies were keeping health care affordable for hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites. Extending them should have been an easy, bipartisan decision. Instead, Republicans chose politics over people, and now Wisconsin families are the ones paying the price.

As your next Lieutenant Governor, I'll fight like hell to keep costs down and protect access to affordable health care in Wisconsin. I've spent my career delivering real results — and I won't stop standing up to politicians who are perfectly fine letting families fall through the cracks.
